6 Best Mauritius Honeymoon Resorts
Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel
The 5-pearl, intimate, exclusive, and hushed retreat is a Paradise Cove boutique hotel only for adults. The 67 luxurious suites and rooms at Paradise Cove have canopy beds, minibars, balconies, or balconies overlooking the bay. The wine cellars and romantic spots are included in the restaurants and bars. A peninsula features love nest seats and an endless swimming pool, including Coin de Mire, with unforgotten sea views and islands. Mauritius’ experience has been exceptional: Paradise Cove combines a small-scale resort atmosphere, a policy for adults alone, and utmost luxury.
There are certainly some, but not all of Mauritius’ other properties. 20 Degrees Hotel, for example, is located in the town, but not so secluded as Paradise Cove, and offers all of Paradise Cove’s excellence and intimacy. The remote lagoon-side setting and adult-only policy of TUI Sensimar Lagoon Mauritius are very similar to that of Paradise Cove. The luxury found at Constance Belle Mare Plage matches Paradise Cove, but Constance also is more than four times larger, child-friendly.
LUX* Belle Mare
Situated on a quiet coastline, LUX Belle Mare has a relaxing, modern, and timeless atmosphere. All its 174 rooms have huge and polished suits, which include minibars, large flat-screen TVs, free bottled water. Some villas have private swimming pools heated. There are four delicate restaurants (and a Michelin star chef), a microbrewery, and a local rum hut, and there are 174 huge suites and villas overlooking the sea with plenty of facilities. The resort offers the island’s largest pool, water sports, a PADI-certified diving centre and a children’s club, and a beautiful white sand beach. Notice that LUX Belle Mare is a family-friendly resort while Paradise Cove is only available for adults.
Constance Prince Maurice
Prince Maurice is a remote shopping resort on the beach, overlooking a quiet and beautiful lagoon. In addition, there are several beautiful swimming pools on the beachfront, while the high-end spa features hydrotherapy pools, yoga and tennis. Apple Mac’s pre-loaded movies on demand, flat-screen TVs, Pillowmenus, and Wi-Fi internets are available in all 89 rooms. All rooms have their own open space and minibars. Villas add more space and advantages such as Nespresso; some villas have private pools and direct access to the beach.
Restaurants of Prince Maurice – a floating seafood site, elegant restaurants with pools as well as ocean spots and a lagoon-view Chinese/Japanese restaurant – all require dress codes, too. There are four stylish bars with a cellar, a beach, and live music pool bars. Just like LUX Belle Mare, Constance Prince Maurice’s child-friendly atmosphere is ideal if couples are looking for a strictly adult atmosphere.
LUX* Le Morne
LUX Le Morne is an exclusive getaway on an uncrowded beach in the south of Mauritius, located in a tropical setting, sheltered by a cliff. The 149 rooms offer ocean views from patios or locomotives as well as flat-screen TVs and minibars and coffee making facilities. There is some 2000 meters of white sand on a private beach. The mountain shelters the beach from the winds and makes it a beautiful lagoon for a calm swim. Inland farther, four lagoon pools blend into the flora of the island and offer a beautiful view of the sea. Many restaurants and bars also offer a view of the sea.
Honeymooners should not be attracted by LUX Le Morne for many families with children; Prince Maurice Constance can be a better option because most guests are couples, although it is also familiar.
Constance Belle Mare Plage
Constance Belle Mare Plage is a retreat on the lagoon of Mauritius abundantly polished and picturesque. The majority of the resort is located on the beach with rooms, villas, swimming pools, bars and restaurants faced by white and turquoise sand, a mile long stretch. On the beach, guests can relax with pinas and glasses of wine in hammocks or under palapas, explore the lagoon with free water handicrafts, and surf along the bended coastline.
All 278 rooms have high quality amenities, ranging from Apple TVs and free Wi-Fi, peek-a-boo bathrooms, to furnished terraces or sea view balcons, with soak-in baths and rainfall showers. The Constance Belle Mare Plage is one of the most extensive resorts on the island. It conserves seven restaurants and six bars as well as room and beach service, 4 pools, 2 18-hole golf courses and a luxury spa.
Trou Aux Biches Golf Resort & Spa Beachcomber
Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is a large, desired luxury resort on the lagoon and offers plenty of space and privacy. All 333 rooms have suites and pool villas – each has an en suite bathroom with a private bath and rainfall shower, minibar, flat-screen TV and terrace (most have outdoor showers as well). Its approximately 90 acres of land are full of features, ranging from an enclosed spa to six elegant hotel restaurants (the whole hotel does not offer an all-inclusive package, unlike Constance Belle Mare Plage).
Although this region is full of beautiful hotel beaches, the length, width and abundance of shades of Beachcomber stand out. Thanks to an exterior reef, its teal water is just as calm as the lake, and its white sand, for the standards at Mauritius, is actually quite soft. Guests can use aquatic equipment at the boathouse to explore the lagoon.
