Google Maps released new features for iOS users
Google Map has released a new feature for its iOS users. Now iphone users can share real-time locations via iMessage. Users can use it through iMessage App, which can see the Google Maps button. By tapping on this, you can share the location by default by one hour. It can be extended up to three days. To stop the real-time location, the Stop button was pressed.

Google has confirmed that the new feature will be available to iPhone users in the near future and every iPhone user will take advantage of this new update.
According to Google, MacRumor reported that “Dark Mode will be released in the coming days. Once it is available, you can activate it in the Google Maps Settings section.
Apple first introduced the Dark Mode feature to iOS 13, but Google took some time to add support for its apps. Earlier this year Google rolled out a real dark mode feature for Android users, and the iOS version of Dark Mode for Google Maps looks the same as the Android version.

Along with Dark Mode, Google has announced the launch of new messages integration. With this feature, Google Maps users can share their real-time location with friends in iMessage using the Google Maps button on the Messages app. By default the location is shared for up to an hour, but there is an option to extend the access to three days or stop access at any time.Â
The company also highlighted the recently introduced widget feature. It allows iPhone users to add the Google Maps widget to Home Screen or Today View. Widgets can be used to check traffic conditions or search nearby locations. Google Maps App can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
Together, Google Maps has introduced three new features for iOS users. Real time location sharing, Google Maps search widget and dark mode are the main features.
