LG introduces compact soundbar LG Eclair, one-third smaller than a regular soundbar

Keeping up with the growing demand for audio products, LG has introduced a small yet powerful soundbar. In fact, LG Electronics said on Monday that its new compact sound bar is available in the market, as the South Korean tech giant now looks to enter the domestic audio market after home appliances.

The company said that the new soundbar LG Eclair will be launched in major European and Asian countries, including North America, later this month. In South Korea, the premium sound bar comes with a price tag of $790 (approximately Rs.59 thousand).

About a soundbar LG Eclair

The latest product, which was honored at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, is about a third the size of a regular soundbar as it is less than 30cm wide, Yonhap news agency reports.

Will get strong sound output of 320 watts

Despite the sleek size, the 3.1.2-channel sound bar with up-firing speakers has an output of 320 watts and supports audio technologies like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Speaker made of eco-friendly material

LG said that it has designed and structured the speaker in a way that sharply dampens the vibrations of the product’s subwoofer. The company said that it also used eco-friendly material for the product.
