Samsung 576MP camera sensor: Samsung is planning to launch its 576MP camera sensor in the coming four years. It appears that the 576MP camera sensor is not being developed for smartphones, but the company is developing it for automobiles. It could also be used in drones and medical devices but it doesn’t look like it’s being used as a smartphone camera as a priority.
Company working on 600MP camera sensor!
When Samsung confirmed last year that it was working on a 600MP camera sensor, Samsung’s executive vice president of sensor business Yongin Park spoke about the company’s ambition to go beyond 500-megapixels, which are more compatible with the human eye.
