New leaks from well-known tipster Ross Young say that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 will come with a 4.7-inch LCD panel, which is expected to house the iPhone 8 body.

This will be the price in India

Apple is said to be working on several new phones apart from the iPhone 13/iPhone 12S series. The price of the iPhone SE 3 has also been told, its price can start from $ 499 (about Rs 36,400). The company is also working on the Plus version of the iPhone SE Plus for 2021. The price of iPhone SE 3 in India may remain under Rs 40,000 as the company is pushing to make more phones in the country.

The iPhone SE 3 will essentially be the iPhone SE 2021/2022 which will offer some significant upgrades over the iPhone SE (2020) and the original iPhone SE. The leak suggests a full-display without a home button. The iPhone 12S Pro has been leaked with the same design as the iPhone 12 Pro. Earlier rumored as iPhone 13 Pro, it is now being called as iPhone 12S Pro.

iPhone SE 3 Potential Specification

  • Apple Lab made some renders based on rumours. The design of the leaked iPhone SE 3 reveals a square-sided design, which is similar to the model of the iPhone 12 series. The device will feature a single camera at the back and a flash in a horizontal pill-shaped module. Upfront, the upcoming iPhone will sport a focused punch-hole display with minimal bezels that will offer a full-screen display unlike the predecessors.
  • Earlier, Svetapple.sk leaked the iPhone SE 3 concept renders by the Slovakian blog. The leaked details show a hole-punch display, not even a bezel or a notch.
  • Recently the same publication released some renders which also said the same. The next generation of iPhones will no longer have a nose. The current iPhone SE 2020 has large bezels at the top and bottom. The iPhone SE 3 will feature a flat frame that will somewhat resemble the design of the iPhone 12 series.
  • At the back, the iPhone SE 3 will have a single camera sensor and LED flash. Both the iPhone SE and iPhone SE (2020) have single camera sensors. But the interesting thing is that there is no home button in it. The blog mentions that Touch ID could be fingerprint recognition on the Power key as of the latest iPad Air.

Expected to come in three storage options

Talking about the specifications of the iPhone SE 3, the leak has suggested a 5.4-inch LCD panel. The rear camera sensor is expected to be a 12-megapixel resolution sensor with an f/1.6 lens similar to the iPhone 12 Mini. The iPhone SE 3 will reportedly be powered by the Apple A14 Bionic SoC with 4GB of RAM and 4G connectivity. Models will come in: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options.

When will the iPhone SE 3 be launched in India?

In terms of price, the iPhone SE 3 is said to be priced starting at $499 (roughly Rs.36,400) for the 64GB iPhone SE 3 5G storage variant. The price of iPhone SE 3 in India may remain under Rs 40,000 as the company is pushing to make more phones in the country. The price of iPhone SE 3 will remain around the entry-level premium category. The iPhone SE 3 launch is now expected in early 2022. Although nothing was mentioned at WWDC 2021, the iPhone 13 series launch is expected to reveal some details.
